Vision Coverage
What to Know
DuPont offers vision coverage through VBA. When using a VBA network provider, the vision plan covers the full cost of your eye exams, lenses, and frames after a small copay. Through VBA, you’ll also have access to hearing benefits and additional discounts.
About Your Vision Coverage
DuPont’s vision coverage is provided by VBA. To receive the highest level of coverage through your vision plan, you should use an in-network provider through the VBA network (there’s more than 16,000 of them throughout the country!).
While you can also use a non-VBA provider through the DuPont vision plan, you’ll have to pay more in out-of-pocket expenses. See the coverage comparison below for more information.
Did Someone Say “Discounts”?
One of the great things about VBA network providers is that you can receive discounts on non-covered lens enhancements and hearing aids. You heard that correctly!

Coverage Comparison
Here is a comparison of your DuPont vision coverage when seeing a VBA in-network provider vs. an out-of-network or non-VBA provider.
Note that if no VBA provider is available within a 35-mile radius of your home, you may use a non-VBA provider at the same in-network cost.
