What to Know
Welcome to DuPont! Now that you are a part of the team, you have plenty of competitive benefit options to choose from, and some are effective on day one.
Your First Week
During your first week, information will be mailed to your home with instructions about how to register on DuPont Connection and begin the benefits enrollment process. You’ll have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll in DuPont benefits. Learn more about the enrolling process and eligibility criteria.
This website is the best place to learn about your DuPont benefits. We encourage you to carefully review the information on this site and, if you have any questions, to call DuPont Connection at 1-833-253-7719.
Your Second Week
It’s time to focus on your DuPont Retirement Savings Plan (RSP), aka your 401(k)! Although you’re automatically enrolled in the RSP 60 days from your hire date, with a contribution rate of 6% of your eligible pay, you are able to enroll now. Take a look to ensure you’re contributing enough for your future.
You’re able to start and stop your DuPont RSP contributions at any time throughout the year. More information from Merrill will be emailed to your DuPont inbox. This email will include highlights of the plan and how to get started, an investment guide, and other required notices, such as your fee disclosures.

Your First Month
If you enrolled in a DuPont Medical Plan, you’ll receive your medical ID card in the mail. Your medical ID card will have Accolade’s phone number on the back. Call this number to speak with one of DuPont’s dedicated Accolade Health Assistants. They are here to help answer your healthcare questions, direct you to the right resources, and work with you to find the best care options available for your needs.
This service is completely free through your DuPont Medical Plan, so be sure to check it out and ask your Accolade Health Assistant about other DuPont benefits you can take advantage of throughout the year.
Your Second Month
Haven’t enrolled in the DuPont Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) yet? Not to worry. DuPont automatically enrolls you in the Plan after 60 days.
Know that you can log on to Merrill, our RSP administrator’s website, at any time throughout the year to start, stop, or change your RSP contributions. Contact Merrill for any questions you may have related to DuPont’s RSP.
Your First Year
Congratulations on your first year with DuPont! Now that you’re a year in, it’s important to review your benefits at least once a year, so they can remain up to date and meet the changing needs of you and your family.
- Review your beneficiaries on DuPont Connection and make changes as necessary. Your beneficiaries are the people who will receive your benefits in the event of your death.
- View your Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) contributions on the Merrill website to ensure you’re contributing the right amount for your future.
- Check in from time to time on your life and accidental insurance coverage amounts and any other financial protection benefits to ensure they’re still aligned with your needs. You can adjust these as needed each year during Annual Enrollment.
- See your DuPont benefits at-a-glance to ensure you’re not missing out on any DuPont benefits throughout the year.
