The months before your child’s birth are exciting, but it’s natural to feel intimidated. Before and after your baby arrives, you can lean on support through Accolade’s Maternity Program, at no additional cost to you.
How It Works
Whether this is your first child or not, Accolade’s maternity nurses are ready to guide you. Through the Accolade Maternity Program, you can turn to your maternity nurse during and after your pregnancy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
It’s important to note that Accolade’s maternity nurses do not replace your healthcare provider, but rather, they empower you to strengthen your communication and relationship with your entire medical team, so you can get the best care possible.
Questions to Ask Your Maternity Nurse
When meeting with your Accolade maternity nurse, you can ask them questions like these:
- What are the do’s and don’ts for expecting moms?
- How do I add my baby to our health plan?
- Where can I go for lactation support?
- Do I qualify for a free breast pump?
Know that participation in Accolade’s Maternity Program is completely confidential. DuPont will not receive any information from Accolade throughout your maternity journey.
How to Get Started
Once you learn you’re pregnant, enroll in the Accolade Maternity Program by calling 1-877-383-4756 and asking to speak with a maternity nurse. You will then complete a 15-minute assessment and receive guidance on topics to discuss and questions to ask your physician or midwife.
After enrollment, your Accolade maternity nurse will send you personalized educational materials to support your pregnancy needs. They will also call you throughout your pregnancy to assist you in getting ready for the birth and taking care of your new baby.
