Hinge Health Overview
Hinge Health is a free exercise therapy program designed to address chronic back, knee, hip, neck, and shoulder pain. It’s convenient, app-based physical therapy that will fit your schedule, and it can be done anywhere, at any time.
With Hinge Health, all you have to do is complete a short, online questionnaire. You’ll then be connected with your own personal care team and receive a free kit in the mail with wearable sensors for your treatment sessions. These sensors will allow you to follow the exercises displayed on your mobile app, showing you how to move and adjust your body in real time.
The programs are made up of 15-minute playlists that you work through three times a week. The playlists are tailored to your abilities and pain level and adapt as you improve.
Getting Started with Hinge Health
To get started, visit Hinge Health’s website and select Join Program. You’ll be prompted to create an account and complete the short questionnaire so your care team can learn more about your level of pain and other medical conditions. All in all, the process only takes 10 minutes.
After you complete the questionnaire, your treatment will begin! You’ll receive more information by email, including details about what to expect in the welcome kit that will be mailed to your home.
