What’s New and Changing in 2027?

The following changes will take effect January 1, 2027. If you’d like to listen to an overview of the changes, check out the Annual Enrollment overview presentation.

Introducing Garner: A Simpler Way to Find Quality Care and Save Money

DuPont is pleased to introduce Garner, a free healthcare resource that works alongside your DuPont medical plan through Aetna.

Use the Garner app to find the best doctors in your Aetna network, and we will help cover your medical bills.

When you visit the doctor, you should feel confident that you’re getting the best care. Using data from one of the nation’s largest medical databases, Garner identifies the top 20% of doctors who deliver the best patient outcomes.*

To be eligible for Garner Dollars, you must first find a qualifying provider in the Garner app and add that provider to your Care Team before receiving care. The provider must be added to your Care Team in the app before your appointment. After you receive care from one of these doctors, you receive a payment (“Garner Dollars”) for your eligible medical and prescription drug out-of-pocket costs—up to $1,500 if you have individual coverage and up to $3,000 if you have family coverage. The Garner Dollars are either:

  • Added to your Health Savings Account (HSA) if you’re enrolled in the Core or Premium Saver Option or
  • Reimbursed to your bank account by direct deposit or by check if you’re enrolled in the Traditional Copay PPO Option.

The result? You get big savings when you choose high-quality care.

Watch a video.

Act Now to Get Ready
  • Download the Garner app and create your account.
  • Search for providers and add them to your care team.

Schedule your appointment with a Garner provider today, and you’ll be ready to take advantage of savings when the program begins in January.

* Note that doctors don’t know if they are in the top 20% of doctors. You must check the Garner app.

Use Teladoc for More Health Care Support

In 2027 employees enrolled in a DuPont Medical Plan will have access to additional services from Teladoc. Teladoc will now offer virtual primary care, in lieu of virtual primary care through CVS Health, and additional support programs designed to help manage diabetes and any heart conditions by providing you with access to physicians, registered dietitians, health coaches, and more. These expanded services make it easier to manage your health no matter how busy you are.

Introducing a Refreshed Well-being Experience

DuPont’s well-being platform will transition from Personify Health to Aetna Health Your Way. The new platform will provide resources, tools, and support designed to help you achieve your health and well-being goals by building healthy habits over time. While Pulse Cash will no longer be offered, you can still earn your Healthy Incentive Credit by getting an annual physical, receiving a well-woman exam, or completing your biometric screening.

Medical Premiums Are Increasing

Like many employers across the country, DuPont continues to experience rising healthcare costs driven by utilization and higher prices for healthcare services. As a result, medical plan premiums will increase in 2027. At the same time, DuPont is investing in new programs and resources designed to help you access quality care, make informed healthcare decisions, and get greater value from your benefits. To review your current monthly premium amounts, go to the What Does It Cost? page.

New Medical Plan Deductibles and Out-of-Pocket Maximums

Medical plan deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums will increase in 2027. In addition, the amount you receive in HSA contributions from DuPont will be decreasing. As a reminder, if you use a Garner provider, you can be reimbursed to offset your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum increases. This means you may pay less overall if you receive care from a Garner provider.
