Starting January 1, 2021, Accolade will provide additional services to support your and your covered family members’ medical, prescription drug, and behavioral health benefits needs year-round.
Accolade is provided at no cost to you. It’s designed to complement — not replace — your medical plan and deliver a simplified and more integrated healthcare experience. Think of Accolade as a trusted resource who works for you, can answer your questions, and works with your medical plan to resolve issues and report the results back to you. Learn more.
Single National Medical Plan Carrier: Aetna
Over the past year, we’ve reviewed the medical insurance marketplace to be sure we continue to provide you with high-quality, affordable medical coverage. As a result of our review, Aetna will become the single national carrier for the Core, Premium Saver, and Traditional Copay PPO options, starting January 1, 2021. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield (Highmark) will no longer be offered.
We understand that moving to a new medical carrier network may be disruptive. If you currently have coverage with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Accolade can help with the transition to Aetna through:

New Approach to Your Medical ID Card
For 2021, Accolade will be your main contact for all of your medical, prescription drug and behavioral health care needs. Your Aetna medical ID card for 2021 will show Accolade’s phone number as your point of contact for questions about your medical, prescription drug, and behavioral health coverage.
Note: For questions about claims incurred before January 1, 2021, continue to contact your current medical (Aetna or Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield) and behavioral health (ComPsych) carriers for assistance.
Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Coverage Moving to Aetna
Our behavioral health coverage is designed to help you live and work well. Starting January 1, 2021, Aetna will replace ComPsych as the administrator of our behavioral health coverage. Moving these benefits to our national medical carrier will significantly expand the provider network and bring you a simplified care experience when more intense counseling than that provided through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is needed.
(ComPsych will continue to administer the EAP, which will continue to provide free counseling for you and your dependents. Note that ComPsych will have a new telephone number starting January 1, 2021: 1-844-856-8778.)

Also starting January 1, 2021, you’ll have the option to receive ongoing, virtual behavioral health care through Teladoc® (see the “Expanded Teladoc Services to Include Dermatology and Behavioral Health Care” drop-down below).
Expanded Teladoc Services to Include Dermatology and Behavioral Health Care
Use of Teladoc (our telemedicine partner) for routine, non-emergency care has grown dramatically in 2020. This has been driven not only by COVID-19, but also by our employees’ greater comfort level with the quality, flexibility, and convenience of telemedicine as a cost-effective alternative to an office, retail clinic, or urgent care visit.
Good news: For 2021, you may continue to use Teladoc for diagnosis and treatment of non-emergency, general medical (only) issues at no cost to you.
Plus, we’re expanding the services for which you may use Teladoc to include dermatology and behavioral health care. You’ll pay a fee for those services.
Here’s how your medical plan option will cover Teladoc services in 2021:

The plan will pay up to a $250 allowance toward the total cost of LASIK eye surgery on both eyes, once every eight years, in- and out-of-network. You may contribute up to $2,750 in either a Limited Purpose Health Care FSA or a Traditional Health Care FSA in 2021 (you cannot have both).

The MetLife Legal Plan provides legal representation for a range of concerns, including money matters, home and real estate, estate planning, family and personal matters, civil lawsuits, elder care, and traffic and criminal matters. Services are provided by a nationwide network of attorneys, at no additional cost to you. Choose from two coverage levels: coverage for just yourself, or coverage for you and your family. You’ll pay for this coverage through after-tax payroll deductions. You can enroll in (or change) coverage on DuPont Connection within 30 days of your hire date, during Annual Enrollment, or if you experience a qualifying life event during the year.
